Bob Lund - News & Sports
Sports Director Bob Lund has broadcast sports in the Monadnock region for 28 years. Lund delivers 5 sports reports daily, Mon- Fri. on WKBK-AM. He also hosts the popular sports talk show "The Press Box" on WKBK Saturdays from 10 till 11am. Listeners throughout the region depend on Bob's extensive coverage of local high school and college sports. Lund also serves as the Play by Play voice of Keene High Football, Basketball and Baseball, Keene State Basketball and Keene Swampbats Baseball. Bob also writes a weekly column "Sports Grapevine" for the Keene Sunday Sentinel. Bob has been involved in sports in the Keene area in one way or another for over 45 years. He is a former Keene High School basketball and track athlete, and a former Keene State College Basketball player. The same passion that drove Bob as an athlete also has driven him to receive 13 prestigious "Golden Mic" awards. It is believed that Bob is the first NH sportscaster to win 4 "Golden Mic" awards in one year, which he did in 2001.
